Beginning June 17 (weekend service) and June 18 (weekday service), CTA buses #171 and #172 will run on a reduced summer schedule. Rides will continue to be free for UChicago students, faculty, and staff who display a valid University of Chicago ID.
Route times and stops are expected to be the same as the 2017 summer schedule. More information on summer hours for CTA buses will be added as it becomes available.

The University's daytime UGo shuttles will maintain normal service throughout the summer. The nighttime North, South, East, and Central routes will also maintain normal service.
The Regents Express and South Loop shuttles will be suspended until fall.
Emeriti faculty ride the UGo shuttles and CTA #171/172 free by displaying their UChicago Card. (The card may not register if tapped against the card reader on a UGo shuttle, but emeriti can still board and ride free).
If an emeritus faculty member did not keep their UChicago Card, they can also display a Campus Card to ride the UGo shuttles. Campus Cards are not eligible for free rides on CTA #171/172.
University Emeriti who need to obtain a Campus Card can visit the ID & Privileges Office in the lobby of the Regenstein Library to have one printed at no cost. UC Medicine emeriti should call 773-702-4382.
