Professor Emeritus Jaroslav Stetkevych and Professor Suzanne Stetkevych have been named as the winners of the 2019 Cultural Personality of the Year Award for the 13th edition of the Shaikh Zayed Book Award.

R. Stephen Berry, James Franck Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus in the Department of Chemistry and the College, has a new book out March 12. The book is called “Three Laws of Nature, a Little Book on Thermodynamics.”

The Center for Middle Eastern Studies is hosting a conference on Persian and Iranian Studies in honor of the late Professor Emeritus Heshmat Moayyad. The conference will be on March 8 to March 9, 2019, at the Franke Institute.
