Based on the recommendation of the Emeriti Faculty Steering Committee, a simple guide to campus transportation has been created for emeriti. It includes emeriti-specific information on how to ride the buses and shuttles that serve the campus area, as well as maps and other details.
NASA’s Parker Solar Probe, named after Professor Emeritus Eugene Parker, will carry the names of 1,137,202 people to the Sun. A plaque dedicating the mission to Parker was installed on the probe with a quote from him: “Let’s see what lies ahead.”
